Gordon has extensive experience in the metals and mining sector, capital markets, and government communications. He was the past President of New Pacific Metals Corp., and the VP of Corporate Development at Silvercorp Metals Inc. and at MAG Silver Corp. Gordon has also worked in the office of the Prime Minister of Canada as a senior communications adviser.
Chairman of the Board
Lorne is a corporate lawyer and senior executive with over 20 years of experience working for NYSE and TSX-listed reporting issuers in both the mining and electronics industry. He has extensive experience in a wide range of areas, including corporate, securities, investor relations, corporate communications, and First Nations matters.
Jean has accounting management experience at a major silver producer, an international property development company, and a Big Four accounting organization (Deloitte).
Dr. Rui Feng
Dr. Rui Feng is successful entrepreneur, explorer, and mine builder with over 30 years of global mining industry experience. His passion for discovery has led him to explore and acquire mineral opportunities worldwide. He was integral in discovering Jinshan Gold's CSH Gold Mine in China in 2002, which was acquired by China Gold International. Dr. Feng founded Silvercorp in 2003 by acquiring early-stage properties in China; he is currently the CEO and Chairman of the company. He is also the founder and CEO New Pacific Metals, which is an advanced-stage silver explorer in Bolivia. Dr. Feng obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geology in China, his Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada in 1992, and received a post-doctoral fellowship from the National Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada in 1992.
Flora is a seasoned corporate associate experienced in regulatory compliance and legal affairs management for various TSX, TSXV and NYSE-listed mining companies. She graduated from the University of London with a Master of Law in commercial and corporate law. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Economics. Before moving to Canada, Flora worked as a government counsel for the Department of Justice and as legal counsel in Hong Kong for many years.
Bhakti is an equity research analyst primarily focused on the precious metals sector with 10+ years of experience with several investment banks. She received her MBA degree from California State University - Fullerton and completed her CFA charter.
Mr. Zhang is a professional geoscientist registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) and is in good standing. He has more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and has worked with Eldorado Gold, Afcan Mining, Sino Gold, Silvercorp, and New Pacific Metals. He supervised the exploration activities of multiple major gold projects and silver-lead-zinc polymetallic projects in China, Canada, and Bolivia at various stages from exploration through development to production with roles of senior exploration geologist, senior resource geologist, exploration manager, chief geologist, and vice president of exploration. Alex brings a full range of technical and managerial skills related to mineral exploration and mining projects. He received his Master’s Degree of Engineering in mineral exploration from China University of Mining and Technology and received his Master’s Degree of Science in mineral exploration from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada.
Hernan Uribe Zeballos
Hernan is a professional geologist with more than 25 years of experience in mineral exploration. Has worked with Billiton, Eaglecrest Exploration, New World Resources Corp, Apogge Minerals Corp, Lydian International and New Pacific Metals Corp. Experienced in exploration and mining in gold-copper deposits, silver – lead – zinc polymetallic deposits, and lithium brines, he has worked in Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Republic of Georgia in various stages from exploration to development with roles of exploration geologist, chief geologist, exploration manager, and country manager. Mr. Uribe Zeballos received his degree in Geology from the University of La Paz, Bolivia, and conducted several courses in mineral exploration and mineral deposits evaluation.
Dr. Peter Megaw
Dr. Megaw has a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Arizona and more than 30 years of relevant experience focused on silver and gold exploration in Mexico. He is a certified Professional Geologist by the American Institute of Professional Geologists and an Arizona Registered Geologist. Dr. Megaw has been instrumental in a number of mineral discoveries in Mexico including new ore bodies at existing mines, Excellon Resources' Platosa Mine, and MAG Silver's Juanicipio and Cinco de Mayo properties; discoveries for which he was given PDAC's 2016 Thayer Lindsley Award. Peter is also a Director of New Pacific Metals, a Canadian exploration and development company with precious metal projects in Bolivia.
